Texas Aimbots: Autonomous Sentry Robot

Technical Contributions

• Designed and 3D-printed 4+ ABS structural components in Onshape CAD for Sentry, a fully autonomous ground robot, including a gimbal housing redesigned for a more compact, rigid footprint; installed on the robot.
• Integrated the NVIDIA Jetson Orin, LIDAR sensors, and cameras into the system for real-time perception and decision-making.

About the Sentry Robot

Sentry is a fully autonomous ground robot. It can traverse the field, shoot at enemies, heal itself, and control the field all without any inputs from a driver. Its high health and power limits make it a force to be reckoned with and often it determines the match winner.
